Information we collect

When you order, we receive the details needed to process and fulfill the purchase, such as your contact and shipping information, order contents, and transaction status. Stripe processes payment details; ShrugThisShop does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

If you create an account, we store the email and any saved profile or shipping details you choose to provide. If you join shop email updates, we store your email address, subscription consent, and unsubscribe status.

How we use it

We use information to operate checkout, prevent fraud, fulfill and support orders, maintain customer accounts and rewards, respond to questions, and send new-arrival or promotional email only when you opt in.

Service providers

Our storefront is hosted by Vercel. We use Stripe for payment processing and Neon for inventory, account, and store data. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and under their own privacy terms.

Browser storage

The cart is saved in local browser storage so it remains available during future visits on that device. Sign-in and checkout providers may use cookies or similar technologies needed to operate their services.

Email updates

Joining the mailing list is optional. Subscription addresses and consent are stored in Neon; the storefront does not currently send campaigns automatically. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link included with each message. We keep the address and consent record to manage your subscription and honor opt-out requests.

Retention and choices

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the store, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain required transaction records. You can request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, and you can ask to close your account or unsubscribe from shop emails.
